Hunger in Marion County Tennessee in 2019

In our county of approximately 28,500 citizens, did you know that 14% of us go hungry because of high food prices, low wages, unemployment, disability, etc. In Tennessee, Williamson County (Franklin and Brentwood) has the lowest percentage (7%), while Lake County (Tiptonville) and Lauderdale (Ripley) County have the highest percentage (22%) of people who go hungry.
