MCCM Food of the Month

The food of the month for November 2013 is canned meat products.  We always need canned tuna, canned chicken, canned beef stew, Spam, canned chili.

Some of the Marion County Churches have ongoing food of the month food drives.  If your church, school, or club doesn’t have a food of the month drive please consider starting one.

Two Questions for our volunteers with email addresses

Volunteer's Email Addresses

We still do not have a current email address for each of you.

You can leave a note to Gary’s attention on the reception desk at the food bank if you prefer.

The easiest way to provide us with your current email address is to go to our website at mccmfbgn.org.

In the box on the lower right labeled “Other Links of Interest” click on the “Subscribe to our newsletter” link and enter the information requested.

Cardboard Recycling at MCCM

We have a cardboard recycling bin in back of the building.
When boxes are collapsed after emptying please toss them in the bin.

Our Volunteers

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are the driving force behind this ministry. We simply could not exist without your tireless efforts greeting each neighbor as neighbors and not clients, keeping the boxes filled, assisting neighbors in carrying food to their cars, keeping the workroom in order and the shelves filled, picking up food orders and doing lots of things that need to be done. Our volunteers are an amazing bunch of folks. We are blessed to call you friends and have you in our lives.

Thanks,

Ginger & Gary
