Marion County residents, neighbors, who have need of assistance with their utility bills to avoid a disconnection of service from a utility provider will be referred usually by member churches or from the United Way of Greater Chattanooga 211 hotline.
A neighbor applying for assistance must sign a consent form authorizing their personal information to be added to our Client Management database. The maximum grants, paid directly to the utilities company, is $300.00 per year.
